Monochromatic

Welcome to my second day of entering new challenges.  Today's challenge I've decided to play along with Creative Clear Stamps.  The theme of this challenge is Monochromatic.

Here is the dictionary version of the word.

 mon·o·chro·mat·ic
[mon-uh-kroh-mat-ik, -oh-kruh-]
–adjective
1.   of or having one color.
2.   of, pertaining to, or having tones of one color in addition to the ground hue: monochromatic pottery.
3.   Optics . pertaining to light of one color or to radiation of a single wavelength or narrow range of wavelengths.
Here is a page I looked at to help me choose a colour scheme for a monochromatic look.
After considering my colour options I went with orange.  I thought using orange would be fun and different because I don't seem to use it very often.
On this card you'll see I used Tim Holtz's  Elegant Flourishes and Tattered Florals. I used a Studio G stamp and sentiment - hand cut, Sizzix texture plate and embossing folders, Peach parfait ink pad and a button embellishment.
I'm off to find some more new challenges and see what I can get into for tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
