Embossing

I tried it and I like it.  I'm sure this is not new, but I wanted to give it a try.  I was inspired with a card I saw at the store and it gave me an idea.  Emboss cardstock, then trim away some of the design for a unique pattern.  I'll show you what I mean.

I embossed the top of a white card 5 1/2" X 4" and trimmed away part of the pattern.  I cut a piece of
white cardstock also measuring 5 1/2" X 4", scored the edges and attached it to (and underneath) the top of the card.  I ran a stylus along the trimmed edge scoring the attached piece of cardstock.  I applied a butterfly and a sentiment to complete my card.

With all the wonderful embossing folders out there I think that the creativity is endless.  Trim an embossed card/cardstock to any desired design to create a totally unique card and add some   embellishments, pastels, ink etc. for added detail.  Can't wait to get started, so fun!

Wherever you are in your day, I hope you're enjoying it!
Wishing you many wonderful creations.
