WOYWW #105

I'm very late posting today as I didn't get much sleep last night and was cleaning up after the mess.  It started in the wee morning hours I'd say.  A light show in the sky like I've never seen and then.....the storm.  The winds were wild, the rain and hail falling in directions I didn't know was possible.  By 1:30 a.m.  a tornado warning was issued for our area and a spotter had seen rotating clouds which was confirmed by the radar at Environment Canada.  To add to the mix, I have an older dog that is petrified of thunder and lightening and didn't get her settled for quite some time after the storm.  An interesting night to say the least.

Now to my desk.  If you want to know why I'm even showing my desk, visit Julia.  Julia is the Princess of Peek(ing).  What?  You've never heard of it?  Oh come on .....please.  Such an awesome place!  Honestly, you'll get swept away into the land of creativity around the world.  I can't say any more, you'll need to check it out for yourself.

You'll see in the post below the result of the mess above.  See the blue thingy there in the bottom right corner?   That's an Elmer glue dot dispenser, really neat.  The nail file (don't roll your eyes) has many uses but mostly for the edges of paper to make sure they're smooth, I'm serious!  A few new punches (only the purple and light green ones are new), embellishments and my much needed coffee.  Thanks for visiting me today and Happy WOYWW.

Wherever you are in your day, I hope you're enjoying it!
Wishing you many wonderful creations.
Thanks for visiting

  7. Our daughter and her family have just returned from a fortnight in Canada, travelling from Calgary to Jasper and Banff, where they had a great time. However they were a little concerned when their hostess told them that if they saw the chairs outside moving, they should immediately go straight down into the basement. They had quite a display of lightning and thunder. Hope your storms did not cause too much damage.

  9. Ooh - scary stuff! I was in Tennessee many years ago just after a Tornado had been through the area we were in, and that was bad enough!

Thanks for stopping by - I'm feeling much better thanks! Hope your dog is ok - you should share a photo of her!
