.....is what I'm going for here.
With the season for celebrating fast approaching, I'm in need of some cards to add to hostess gifts. There will be at least one occasion that I know will be a bit dressy, so I thought I would follow suit with my card.
Looking for some inspiration, I saw Mojo Monday's sketch and decided it would work perfectly.
Here is the sketch
Here is my take on the sketch
The card consists of only two colours, black and gold. Hanging on the gold thread is a Victorian shoe that is just lovely! Unfortunately the picture doesn't show off the card that well but in person it is quite elegant.
One of the bottles of wine we like to give as hostess gifts is from a Winery who's colours are also back and gold so this card is going to work out just great! Well, that's one more thing to tick off the to do list, still a long way to go!
The patterned designer paper is from a collections of 6 X 6 papers I received as blog candy and the embellishments are from De Serres. The rectangle rhinestones are from Making Memories and the gold embossed paper is from The Paper Company.
