WOYWW

One of the many things WOYWW is responsible for is showing us all how quickly time flies!  You gotta wonder, are there any other days in the week?  Sometimes it doesn't feel like it ....does it?!!

I'm busy painting ceilings and walls so that's been keeping me away from my craft table lately.  Sadly I don't have anything in the way of paper, stamps, glitter or glue to show you today but I will share my evening project.  It's an afghan I'm crocheting for my new great niece, I'm trying to get it finished before the baby shower.

If you are curious about the acronym WOYWW or why I'm sharing a picture of my afghan, click on The Stamping Ground where you'll find several others just like me doing the same.  I'm not going to tell you anymore, you'll just have to visit the link above yourself and join in some fun and escape to many different places around the world.

Last week I wasn't able to visit everyone ((sigh)) and I'm not sure I'll be able to this week either.  I've got my "honey do" list to look after first before I can once again get back into my regular crafty routine.  I'm going to try do my best though, I promise.

Where ever you are in your day, I hope you're enjoying it.
Wishing you many wonderful creations!

  13. Lovely crochet work there. I'm not much of a crocheter, Mum tried to teach me but as I am left-handed I found it almost impossible to follow her. I do knit though and would you believe that I'm doing a baby afghan as well. Started on Tuesday and going well.

  14. That Afghan looks so cosy. I love crocheting too, it is very relaxing in the evening watching TV. We still have one room to paint, and the hall, stairs and landing to strip and redo - not looking forward to doing that one. Thank you for your visit this week, and your lovely comments. Have a go at a scene, once you get your head round that what you want at the front has to be stamped first, masked and then stamped over. Have a go and relax. xx Maggie #90

  15. Hi there Ms Multi Talented Crafty Elf:0) Fabulous afghan, If I'm truthful I didn't understand what you meant by an afghan, LOL I had to do a google search but now I know! We just call them baby blankets, pretty boring by comparison! Yours looks very professional great crocheting:0) Gay xx

    1. Hi there, my Elfin Friend! I wondered where you were lately! Fantastic baby blanket you're making :)

And, yes - it is a Piglet mug you spotted on my desk. Len's 'pet name' for me is Piglet - err, isn't Piglet a bit silly and kinda always getting into bother?!?! Hmm, Len is asleep in bed right now otherwise I'd be having words about that one. Oh, and not many people know he calls me that :)

But, it follows that I have a few Piglet things around the home here, including a couple of mugs.

Take care, and good luck with the decorating - it's waaaay to quiet without you around so I hope you're all done soon!

      Di xx
