It's Arrived!!!

Welcome everyone to the Blog Candy Fashion Show
I've been waiting for this!
An Exclusive Premier showing
My Blog Candy Win
 from the
Outstanding Artisan
Marianne
 at

If you are into crafts, what you're about to see is exciting.
Each item was sent to me as a bonus
 the original blog candy win
will end the post as
 the
"Show Stopper"

Let's begin.....

First, to open the show ...we have an amazing crafting tool packaged in such wonderful colours of blue and white.  It's from non other the global sensation Martha Stewart.  This terrific tool is the Punch Around The Page set "Eyelet lace".  Both punches are used together to create one continuous die-cut border or they can be also used separately to create elegant corners or trim on your scrapbook pages and cards.

Next on the craft runway, so fresh and creative,  we have Hero Arts Sweetness.  These script messages will look fabulous on my greeting cards and scrapbook pages.

Here is the popular...ribbon and trim.  What project wouldn't be complete without this versatile accessory?  It's the finishing touch to any gorgeous creation!

Look at those vibrant colours!  A must to any creation.

For that extra sumpin sumpin we have GBasicGrey.  (Un)dressed tags that match preprinted tag sets and can also be painted, stamped, embossed, inked and texturized.  A craft must!

So much splendor in one place, yes?  So exciting!

Hitting the craft runway next are the twins.  Not one set, but two!  Look at these icicles bubbles by k*i Memories.  These fantastic items are clear round bubbles that you can fill with beads, photos or any memorabilia.  Mix several colours, sizes and shapes for a fresh, funky look.  You won't be able to contain yourself!

Just look at these gorgeous beads. Aren't they the most stunning colour of gold? These beads will work extremely well with the icicles bubbles. What a great creative statement.

Who doesn't love blender pens?  Here we have a Set of three for blending chalks and water based inks.  Colour or outline stamped images with markers or watercolour pencils.  Pull and blend colours with blender pens.  Dip blender pens into pastels or watercolour cake and apply directly to paper.  Every crafters creative necessity.

What project wouldn't be complete without the help of designer papers?  Here we have a very large assortment of double sided papers with every pattern imaginable.  There are an infinite number of possibilities with all the different papers here for all types of looks so let your creativity take over and my possibilities are endless.

The reverse side of the amazing papers.....

Everything starts with a great foundation.  Here is a wonderful supply of papers to help my project get underway.  Begin with a great 8 1/2 X 11 piece of designed paper and my layout has the ability become a treasured memory for years to come.  Any layout wouldn't be complete without one of these popular papers?

Go on, pick one (if you can) of these wonderful papers and begin a treasured memory.

Who doesn't love stickers?  What project is complete without the help of one of these lovely ditties?  Just add one here or one there and Voila.... that extra something that will complete my project - the perfect touch.  These little guys also make for an added touch to an envelope or even the inside of a card.  I'll just use my imagination and the sky is the limit.  An extremely versatile embellishment and compliment to any creative piece.

To end the show....we have the Piece de Resistance or as some call it The Showstopper.  It by no means implies that it's better than the aforementioned as they were a bonus and fabulous to say the least.  It just means that this was the Blog Candy and therefore it requires a runway strut all it's own.

So here we have a fantabulous gift box probably altered by the wonderful Marianne.

Once opened.....
am I not the luckiest person right now?  Is this not awesome?

Marianne...I can't thank you enough, honestly!  You are the most generous person in the blog world!  I'm so grateful to have won your blog candy and I want to ensure you that each and every item will be used with gratitude and a smile, knowing it came from you!  Thank you so very much - I love it all!  P.S.  I took a picture of the goosebumps on my arm when I opened the box but the heat from the light in my light box ruined them.  They disappeared, sorry!  I hope you enjoyed the creative fashion show as much as I enjoyed creating it.

For those of you who would like to have a look at some of the wonderful things Marianne is working on, click on all the links below.  Marianne is a true Artisan and you will be quite impressed at all that she is involved with.  Wait till you see her dogs!  That is worth the visit alone!!!!!

Wherever you are in your day, I hope you're enjoying it!
Wishing you many wonderful creations

It Was Like Christmas

Do you remember being a little child on Christmas morning and being so excited when you saw your presents?  That was what it was like yesterday when I went to pick up the mail and saw a large white box.  I knew when I read the label exactly where the box was from and that I had just received my 72 set of Copic Markers from Lisa at The Craft's Meow.  What amazing blog candy!  To say I was elated is an understatement.  I raced home, grabbed a craft knife and carefully (I'm lying here) following the lines of the tape cut right into the side of my thumb.  How careless of me!!!  No stitches required just a reality check to slow down.

Ready?  Here they are, all 72 of them.......

Aren't they wonderful?

I feel so lucky to have won, it was very exciting for me.  I must again thank Lisa for this very generous blog candy!

Lisa has recently opened a new store called The Craft's Meow.  This is something she has wanted to do for a long time and it has now come to fruition for her.  Very exciting!  Always there to be of any assistance, you can click on her name for a direct link to her blog or the second link which is her e-mail where she is more than happy to answer any questions.  I've also added a direct link to her store so check it out, it's worth the visit!  Here is the link to The Craft's Meow Blog where you will find announcements about the store and see some terrific cards along the way.

Thanks so much for visiting!
Have a great day and an awesome weekend.
