The Colours Of Spring

It's Wednesday morning and the sun is shining, how awesome is that!   Lovin it!!!!

My plan for today and the rest of the week is to continue to create cards using the Colours Of Spring. As mentioned in yesterdays post, the Spring Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers ends on Thursday so I have today and tomorrow to create and upload my cards.  There's still time for you to enter too.  Have a look at yesterdays post and click on the link I've provided to add your entry(s) for a chance to win a $500.00 prize package from EK Success Brands. 

If you've noticed each card I've made this week has consisted of only two colours, not sure why.  I'll definitely have to change that up for the next card. 
On this card I used a polka dot embossing folder and the labels 15 Spellbinders Nestabilities and some faux pearls for embellishments.

Having Fun Using My Cricut

Well, yesterday was quite a day!  Here we were three and a half days into spring and we get a big snow storm accompanied by crazy gusts of winds.  It was wild!  So I thought to myself, I'm going to play with my Cricut machine today and have some fun.  So I did.  Then I shovelled!

 I used three Cricut cartridges to make this card.  Calligraphy Collection for the letters, Wild Card for the trees and grass and Doodlecharms for the eggs.   I used Stickles to decorate the eggs - so fun!
