A Flower As Promised

Looking good!  I've managed to use another flower on a project so that's one less flower in my stash.  Let's see how I do for the rest of the week shall we?  I'm sure I can do it, no problem.

I'm playing along with CPS - Card Sketches challenge today.  Sketch challenges are one of my favourite challenges to play along with.  You simply follow the sketch and then put your take on it.  You'll still need to use your imagination however the DT (Design Team) will always inspire you with some of their wonderful ideas.

Here is today's sketch

Here is my take on the sketch

To make the flower on the card I took a 1 1/2" four petal flower and put a drop of glue in the centre.  I then scrunched the centre of the flower together until it held.  I took a second identical flower and cut the the four petals apart gluing each petal on to the scrunched flower creating a more dimensional flower.  Using a Martha Stewart leaf punch three leaves were applied around the flower.
I sponged old olive ink around a 3" scalloped circle and applied a thin old olive piece of cardstock with three faux pearls attached.
The sentiment is from Verve and stamped using old olive ink.

Wherever you are in your day, I hope you're enjoying it!
Wishing you many wonderful creations.
Thanks for visiting.

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend and got the opportunity to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather.  Assuming of course, that you had nice weather.

I'm playing along with the MOJO Monday challenge today.  It's a cool sketch and guess what?  I can use a flower.  Awesome!

From The Heart

Almost at the end of another week by golly!  Where do the days go?

gol·ly (gl)
interj.
Used to express mild surprise or wonder.

For today's card I used a stamp set that I haven't really used much before.  Oh, I've used a flower from the set here and another flower there but never the pot, leaves and flowers together.  Not sure why really.  After playing around with the stamps and taping off a bit of the stems I was quite happy with the final result.

Card 4" X 5 1/2"
Stamps - Bouquet rubber stamp set (Michaels), Sentiment from Verve
Paper - K & Co., blue, pink and green cardstock, white paper designed for copic markers

Winnie The Pooh - Sentiment

Also called Pooh Bear, is a fictional anthropomorphic bear created by A. A. Milne.

anthropomorphic adjective

1. ascribing human form or attributes to a being or thing not human, especially to a deity.
2. resembling or made to resemble a human form: an anthropomorphic carving.

The sentiment on today's card I believe has so much meaning!  Its author is non other than the lovable Winnie The Pooh.  I feel this sentiment is so versatile and would be great for any number of occasions.

Caption - Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart
