I can't believe today is the last day of May, wahoooo! Hello June and welcome summer. I was finally able to get all my flowers and pots planted on the weekend and now I'm going to sit and enjoy their beauty. One pot in particular gave me the inspiration for this card.
I was really happy with my finished card.
For the leaves
I used a clover punch, cut off the stem and one of petals. I trimmed around remaining petals about an 1/8th of an inch to shape the leaf like a geranium leaf. Coloured the leaf with the Lovely Lilac marker to give it its colour. I curled up each leaf to add dimension
For the flowers
I used a small flower punch for the flowers and cut it into pieces to make all the small tiny flowers for the geraniums
For the pot
I coloured the pot using Copics and applied Crystal effects for the shine
Card 5" X 6 1/2"
Paper - Real Red, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, black and white cardstock
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Stamps - Pot is from the Bouquet stamp set
Accessories - Fiskars Clover punch, EK Success small flower punch, Lovely Lilac marker, Copic markers and Crystal effects

What a beautiful card. The construction of those flowers is super.
