Kissing With A Twist - Take Two

After Tuesday's post on Kissing With A Twist, I wanted to try the same technique again using a different stamp so the pattern would be more obvious.  I played around for a bit with a few different ink colours and stamps before I decided which one I liked best.  This technique is quite a lot of fun with endless possibilities and I'm quite happy with the way my card turned out.

To start my card, I kissed with a twist all over a piece of white cardstock.   From that cardstock I punched out four large flowers to make my first layer of the card.  I then matted an embossed piece of white cardstock with lavender coloured paper to finish the second layer.  For the third layer, I once again kissed with a twist on white cardstock and matted it with blue this time.  To finish off my card, I embossed a second piece of white cardstock, punched out two large flowers from that, added some faux lavender pearls and last but not least added my sentiment.

I've quite enjoyed using this technique and think I might be using it more now that I think I have the hang of it.

Card  5" X 6 1/2"
Paper - Lovely Lilac, Brocade Blue and White cardstock
Ink - Lavender Lace and Brocade Blue
Stamps - Scrappy Cat's Pretty Blooms and Verve for the sentiment
Accessories - EK Success large flower punch, polka dot embossing folder, 1 3/4" scalloped circle,
1 1/2" and 1 1/4" circle punch, adhesive faux pearls and dimensionals

Wherever you are in your day, I hope your enjoying it!
Wishing you many wonderful creations.
Thanks for visiting.
