Kissing With A Twist

With the title of this post you can bet it'll get a lot of attention!!!  My card today is going to be kissed with a twist.   This is a new technique for me and it looks like it's going to be lots of fun!

Over at  "Just Us Girls" their challenge is Kissing With A Twist.  You don't actually kiss per say but you can if you want to, it'll add a little extra sumpin sumpin to your card making if ya know what I mean.  If you're unfamiliar with the kissing technique, it's really quite simple.  You take a larger stamp that has a fairly solid pattern to it, ink it up with a light coloured ink.  You then take a second stamp, try to choose a smaller stamp this time, ink it up with a darker coloured ink.  Now here is where the kissing technique begins, you stamp the smaller of the two stamps all over the larger stamp
(re-inking each time) which is called kissing.  To achieve the Kissing With A Twist, follow the above technique only this time, stamp the smaller stamp to the larger stamp and before lifting the stamp - twist it.  Once you have kissed with a twist all over you larger stamp, stamp your image onto a piece of cardstock and begin to create a beautiful card which has been Kissed With A Twist
The fun is endless!

My larger stamp didn't really have much of a solid pattern to it unfortunately
(part of the learning process) so the technique isn't quite as noticeable here.  I'm going to dig thru my stash today to see if I can't come up with another stamp that will show off Kissing With A Twist a little better.  This is one of those technique's that's so cool and if you haven't tried it before... you should  give it a go.

Card 5" X 6 1/2"
