WOYWW 116 or 117 ....

...time is flying so fast I can't remember.  Sadly I missed last week so I'm just a tad confused!

Reminder!  You have until midnight tonight to enter my August Giveaway to win this lovely bracelet.
If you haven't entered yet, click here for your chance to win.  You won't be sorry, I promise!

I've got some neat things to show everyone today!  I've gone and done a little shopping and here are some of my new treasures.

This is from that little place I blogged about a few weeks back.  I stopped in again yesterday while out shopping with my Mom.  It just so happens there is a fresh pasta outlet across the road from this store so of course we had to pop back in after picking up some lasagna.

Here are my new Lili of the Valley stamps.  Blamed this one on Misteejay over at My world...sort of.  She is wearing the "You're To Blame" badge well.  If you feel there is anyone out there that has caused you to spend money because of their inspiration, there is a badge for that here.  Go ahead and pass it along....they deserve it!
These are my new Stampalicious stamps already put in empty CD cases for storage.  I'm sure there was someone to blame for this purchase too.

Last but not least, here is the afghan I'm working on.  I love to crochet and find it very relaxing and rewarding.  I wanted to share this today with Marianne.  I was visiting Marianne's blog Life@RuffHaven and she talks about learning to knit and crochet as a young girl and is presently practicing her stitches.  Honestly, I don't think there is anything Marianne can't do.  You must check out her many talents and don't blame me if you get inspired - blame her, I have!

So there you have what I'm up to.   It's my turn now to see what you're up to and everyone else over at the Stamping Ground.  If you have something you want to share globally, Julia would love to hear about it.  Julia is the author and founder of WOYWW  over at the previously mentioned Stamping Ground.  It is definitely worth the visit!

Wherever you are in your day, I hope you're enjoying it!
Wishing you many wonderful creations

  1. You mean I could have just popped and stayed with you and not bothered with a hotel?? LOL You live in an area with some fabulous countryside as well as the Falls... though I must admit I found the touristy-ness of it a bit of a let-down... I was expecting a bit of Banff class at Niagara but instead got tattoo parlours and Frankensteins den!! ;)
Just been looking at your Aunts quilts... such beautiful work!!

  16. Thank you for your visit earlier. We did have a great trip, and it has been a real struggle to get all the photos and videos in order and burned on to disc. That is all done now so maybe it is time to get back to more normal crafting. I love all that lovely stash you have there. Enjoy playing with it.
