On A Grand Scale

Las Vegas sure knows how to decorate for the Holiday Season!  The past week was filled with so many wonderful sights, it was simply one magnificent display after another.  The city is truly larger than life and known for ensuring a truly memorable stay, Las Vegas has once again succeeded its goal!

I must share some pictures of one of the prettiest Holiday displays I have ever seen.  There were so many gorgeous fresh flowers and plants, I commend the tireless effort of the team that continuously maintained the stunning work of art!

The fence is draped in mixed green garland and pine cones.  The base of the arches where nestled in a sea of poinsettias

This was a display of three enormous polar bears created entirely from creamy white carnations.

There was a miniature train running around the bears.  They had a railway track frame on a post displaying the trains view as it moved around the track.  A camera was hidden inside the front of the miniature train.

A very playful polar bear rolling around in the snow while another stood by.

Snow dusted trees, ponds and fountains in amongst the colourful display of poinsettias.

A glorious show stopping silver and gold Christmas tree sparkled in the middle of the atrium.

Large silver urns overflowed with fresh greens and red roses

Fabulous!

Snowflake mirrors explain each display

Several penguins skated and twirled around while being watched over by protective parents.

I couldn't get enough of these furry little creatures!

This was an adorable display of penguins, ice and poinsettias!

I'm off to finish up some very important shopping and get a good start on the menu for a Boxing Day feast!  Six sleeps left...I better get a move on!  What plans do you have for the final week and do you have all your shopping done?

Wherever you are in your day, I hope you're enjoying it!
Wishing you many wonderful creations!

  2. Wonderful displays - the tree is beautiful (more than can be said for the one at our local town - the tree in the centre is large and rotates but the decoration was almost non-existant...and very tatty).

    Those penguins look super.

Am I sorted for Christmas? - nope! Still gifts to buy and decorations to put up.

  4. How amazing, I really love the work and designing in all of your pictures, but find I can't help but prefer the urns full of roses and greenery the most. what a great time you must have had. I'm getting there this week, nothing too pressing till the entertaining starts on Friday!
