A Challenge With A Cause!

I'd like to share a challenge with everyone today.
 Use It Tuesday will make a donation to the Red Cross to aid those in Japan.  The amount of the donation depends on the number of participants.   Here is how it works. 

Make a project (card, layout, tag, stationary etc.) using the colour red in honour of Japan.  Also, use something from your craft stash that you've been hoarding, add it to your project,  then mention in your post what it was that you've used. 
  1 - 25 participants  Use It Tuesday will donate $50.00
26 - 50 participants  Use It Tuesday will donate $75.00
and so on up to $400.00
The Challenge ends on April 1, 2011

Use It Tuesday - Challenge #2

The challenge here is to cut into a piece of pretty patterned paper that you have been hoarding and actually make something with it! You can make cards, scrapbook pages, 3D or altered items! They don't care! They just want you to use it!  I thought I would join in because if you read some of my earlier posts I have been doing just this.  Not quite sure what I'm waiting for but thought I would jump in with both feet on this one.  This was tough.  Nothing worse than that first cut into that gorgeous designer paper, it's painful to do.  But this is what I love about challenges.  You do things you might not otherwise have done.  They take you out of your comfort zone and that's a good thing.  As they say...nothing ventured, nothing gained. 

Anyways.....here is my entry for Challenge #2.

I actually cut into three designer papers here - yikes!
