Flowers, Polka Dots And Stripes Oh My.....

What a gorgeous Monday morning!  The sun is shinning, it's the last week of June, a four day work week and Friday is a holiday.   Can it get any better than that?  Yup, it can.  I'm going shopping with my BFF today.  We're hitting a quaint little town with all kinds of interesting little shops and stopping for some lunch, can't wait!!  Just my kinda day.

I'm playing along with Less Is More today and this is only the second time that they have had a sketch for one of their challenges. What's nice about this challenge is that it can be interpreted in a variety of ways.

Here is the sketch and

here is what the Diva's (Mandi and Chrissie) have to say.....  "Your card doesn't have to be exactly this shape and the elements don't have to be circular, but the basic sketch should be recognizable."

This is my card for this weeks challenge.
Card 4" X 5 1/2"
Paper - Yellow cardstock
Ink - Memento - Tuxedo black and Stampin Up - YoYo Yellow marker
Stamps - Verve - for you
Accessories - Cuttlebug Polka Dot Strip embossing folder, Prima flowers, yellow brads and corner punch

Wherever you are in your day, I hope you're enjoying it!
Wishing you many wonderful creations.

  2. This is gorgeous, the dots on the background and the dots on the flowers are so effective and the rounded corners of the card just finish the whole thing off. Lining the yellow card strips with the dots must have been fun.
